	Christ Church Hosts Annual Meeting Sunday, Jan. 24 The 307th meeting of the Parish of Christ Church will be held Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010. There will be one service, at 9 a.m., and the meeting will be followed by a potluck luncheon in Parish Hall.
	Kevin Olds Joins Christ Church as Transitional Deacon Kevin Olds has joined Christ Church as a transitional deacon. A native of upstate New York, he is a graduate of Drew Theological School in Madison, NJ and is pursuing a master's in sacred theology at General Theological Seminary in Manhattan, where he expects to graduate and be ordained into the priesthood in May of 2010. A former resident chaplain at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, PA, he has planned and led mission trips to locations including New Orleans, Toronto and South Dakota, and has also been involved in the Taize Monastic Community in France.
	Celebration of the Life of Absalom Jones Feb. 14 The Diocesan Black Clergy Caucus and Union of Black Episcopalians will honor the life of Absalom Jones at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14 at Trinity Cathedral, Trenton. Rev. Jones was the first Black person ordained in the Episcopal Church.

	Get your SuperBowl Munchies! The popular SuperBowl Sandwich fundraiser returns again this year for Sunday, Feb. 7. Prices are $8 for a 12-inch Italian, Turkey and Swiss and Vegetarian choices. Prior orders are required by Jan. 31; contact the church office for more details. Sandwich pickups are available on Saturday Feb. 6 or after services Sunday, Feb. 7. Proceeds benefit the Girls Friendly Society.
